Hi I have been prescribed lamictal just to try it out if it works for me and was told to take it in the evening but ever since i started taking it i feel a surge of energy in the evenings, my thoughts are just all over the place and i cant quiet them down and fall asleep and even if i slept little or felt tired before, it always disappears in the evenings. I also experience stress easier and more severly than i used to. Ive been taking this for 2 weeks now and i dont know if its placebo or this drug causing the issues. Any advice?

2021.12.05 22:46 PeachyPositive Spring 22 Sublease Available (Female Unit)

Hi everyone! I posted previously but I still have a sublease available @ The Cottages for the spring semester.
It’s a 5bd/5br house, and you’d have your own private room + bathroom, as well as a walk-in closet. The house is also completely furnished!
Id pay for the relet fee ($450), as well as offer $100 towards rent per month, so you’d only be paying $600 a month!
Please message me if you’re interested!

2021.12.05 22:46 fireboltzzz Interview Questions About Music Production For Class

Good evening everyone! I'm working on a project for my Achieving Academic Success Class where we do a report on a career we want to pursue, and part of it requires me to interview someone from the field and basically ask them questions on their experiences in the field and how they got where they are now. So since i don't really know anyone personally who works in music production, I figured it would be a good idea to ask someone here.
Here are the questions:
Describe your typical work day.
What do you enjoy most about your career and current position?
What do you dislike about your career or current position?
What challenges or barriers did you have to overcome to get into your career?
What skills do you feel are most important for a position in this field?
As a college student, what do I really need to know/do to have a successful entry into this career?
I'd really appreciate any help I can get on this. Not only because it's for a final grade but also because music production and beat-making is my favorite hobby and I would personally love to hear some insight about the field. Thank you all and have a great rest of your night.

I have never completed a play through. I’ve mashed Y enough to set everything to fast forward. My current game is in year 2409, no end game crisis, and I probably have over 20 / 30 hours sunk into it. I’m determined to stick it through but man it’s frustrating.

Hello,
Is there a list of all the cosmetic stuff that is available to get yet? I saw in a stream someone had a Pop FX of it looking like water was popping out of the bloons upon popping, but I didn’t see that reward anywhere in the shop and monkeys/hero rewards. Does anyone know how to get this one and where to see all cosmetics available?

2021.12.05 22:46 Spowotlight A retrospective look on Glitchtale season 2 Pt. 2 Plot

So, where do I begin with this. I've spent quite a long time, and I mean quite a long time, trying to work out how I should explain my thoughts on this particular aspect of Glitchtale.
The short explanation is that the plot is a huge mess.
The long explanation is that first and foremost it's important to understand that this is for all intents purposes Camila Cuevas is, at the time of the beginning of season 2, an amateur when it comes to writing a long-running and dramatic story. That isn't an insult, and it shouldn't be considered an insult. It just means that as far as I can tell, she hasn't done this kind of storytelling before, and as a result there are a lot of mistakes expected to be made. Look at how season 1 is structured. It's extremely simple.

  1. Frisk corrupts Chara and causes glitches.
  2. Chara becomes evil.
  3. Gaster's evil, but turns good when he's summoned to help fight Chara.
  4. Flowey becomes Asriel and defeats Chara with the power of friendship.
  5. The season ends with a subtle message about not clinging to the past and moving onto the future.
And that's it. That isn't a bad thing, but it's also not a big thing. Compared to Season 2, it's tiny. Season 1 takes up less than 1 hour, while season 2 takes more than 5 hours. In those 5 hours, Glitchtale does a lot of moving forward, moving backwards, and very often just walking in circles, and all the while changing speed constantly. What that's supposed to mean is that very often the plot will go in a direction before regressing, and reusing a particular series of events. All the while, the pacing is sporadic.
Rewinding all the way back to the beginning, Frisk tells us that racism is cancelled. Yay! except Jessica doesn't want to cooperate for unknown reasons. It's never made clear why she's against them, but she is, but the very next day, she's in support of helping monsters. Not more than 5 minutes after deciding this, she gets hit by an irony-filled bombshell and becames evil for an episode. During this, Sans and Asriel go from reluctant allies glued together by a common enemy to trying to become best friends after a single conversation.
In the second episode, it's revealed that Betty's secretly evil and manipulated a bunch of bad things to happen, and then Sans "dies", and Asriel is shaken up about this like he and Sans were brothers. It... almost conveys the idea that Asriel's secretly an emotionally unstable person, and can very quickly become very attached to one singular person... kinda like Chara... that's something interesting to think about, I think. Anyways, then Betty lets Asriel run away despite wanting to and being able to take his soul, and then steals something from Jessica without flat out killing her too.
Episode 3 is the beginning of the walking in circles thing I mentioned earlier. Every major fight that involves Betty has the same formula that decides how things go. Betty fights, Betty is confident until she gets torn apart, and then she pulls out a trump card which is quickly invalidated. She did this to Gaster, where she was confident, almost lost but used a trump card, and then Undyne invalidated it in her fight. She thinks she can beat Undyne, but then gets nearly killed, and pulls out a new trump card, but this ends up being bad for her. She's confident against Frisk, until she "kills" Asriel and Frisk goes berserk. She pulls out Sans, and then Papyrus frees him through the power of friendship and love. Do you see the pattern? It's roughly at this point where it becomes kinda obvious that Betty is really not an intimidating villain. She isn't a competent threat, and it's because of the inaction of the protagonists she's able to survive for so long. But simultaneously, as the danger of her existence is diminished almost comically, characters presumed dead are revived. That isn't a good thing, story-wise, because if resurrection is easy, then death isn't really that important. Sure, not everyone can come back, but most of them don't matter in the eyes of an outsider who never had the time to become attached to them. I don't think anyone felt bad that Cam couldn't be revived, or that he even died in the first place.
Now obviously I'm skipping over a lot of details that don't have to do directly with the plot. Undyne's story, Jessica's arc, etc. are major high points for this first attempt at large-scale storytelling. And if that's your concern, I'll refer you back to my previous post.
Moving on, when it was revealed that Frisk was secretly an asshole, and #Charadidnothingwrong becomes trending, and then Frisk was outright replaced by Chara in-universe, things took a turn for the worst. Out of nowhere one of the characters we spent the most time with was pulled from the story, and Chara is given very little opportunity to make a name for himself. The plot is already rolling at a speed he can't keep up with. Even worse, is that Game Over could have been a small opportunity for him, but it ended up not. It introduced and focused on side characters more than anything else, and the most that Chara did in this was die and then travel back in time so that neither his death nor the threat of the entire universe being destroyed could ever matter again.
If nothing else, this did one good thing. It meant that the true stakes were no longer the fate of the universe. The stakes returned to being tied to individual characters, as it was and as it should've been. And because of that good things are accomplished narratively. Even with Hope being out, I genuinely think that Animosity is the strongest episode from a writing perspective. It is the conclusion of the major arcs for every major character, except Toriel and Asgore that is, and gives us what could be considered satisfying conclusions to each arc. Chara overcomes hatred to help Asriel. Gaster finally gets revenge on Betty. Undyne overcomes her personal trauma with the help of Rave and Ronan.
As a matter of fact, purely from this perspective, HATE's re-emergence as the final boss of the series could be pulled from the story and things would've ended the same. The aftermath where Rave is in the hospital, Gaster and Papyrus talk, and so do Chara and Asriel, happened without any relation to HATE. That's not to say that Hope was a bad episode, or that it shouldn't have happened. Visually it was the best episode of the season and had a good fight in it. I accept all of that, but at the same time I say that how little HATE mattered narratively is a demonstration of the faulty structure of the overall story. In essence, HATE's reappearance served purely for fanservice. It led to a cool fight and good visuals, absolutely, but nevertheless fanservice.
Finally reaching the end of where the plot led, we are reminded that the kids from previous episodes all survived, and coincidentally, they all became members of this "Determino Council". There's really not much for me to say here. I think I would've liked to see what happened to those kids immediately after the crisis, and how they developed to eventually be considered for candidacy for this council, but that's my own personal wish.
Overall I would give the plot itself a 5/10. If you think that's low, remember that 50% is neither great nor terrible. I'm also giving consideration to what I said before, about Cami not being experienced in this kind of field of writing. Will she get better? I assume she will. Nevertheless, 5/10 is the most generous I can give to the plot.
I forgot to give an overall rating for the characters in my last post, so I'll do that here. Overall, I give the characters a 7/10. Not that each character is 7/10 of course, but the small amount of gems do more good than the large amount of coals do bad. At least, I believe they do.
