WORK PROGRAMME OF TEACHER – Speech Therapy

The structure of the defect with the school system speech disorders in school YII form implies a multi-faceted with them logopedic correction. Speech therapists introduces children to the correct speech patterns , helps you analyze your speech and the speech of others, promotes the systematic accumulation of knowledge relating to the semantic , acoustic , morphological , syntactic regularities of language, creates the conditions for the generation of coherent expression of students, directs and encourages their speech activity 

In the system of complex and diverse activities speech therapy takes the major work on the formation and correction of connected speech of students, which is determined by the structure of the defect. Work on the development of coherent speech should be planned and systematic .

Taking into account the nature of the defect due to organic brain damage , given the characteristics of the educational process in special ( correctional) type VII , I have created the best , in my opinion , the conditions for the development of coherent speech students.

The problem of coherent speech , speech therapy as a result of work decided on the designated classes in the general system of correction speech therapy , where both of the following systematic work on the development of lexical and grammatical structure of the language, sensory-motor functions necessary for the formation of speech and writing .

In order to ensure the rational approach and maximize the effectiveness of the differentiation made by me in the directions of teachers and speech therapists , distributed their major and minor responsibilities in the correctional work. Speech therapists , whose tasks competently entered correction of coherent speech , sells it in the hours stipulated by the basic plan ( grades 1-3 – 4 hours per week , 4-5 grades – 3 hours per week , 6-7 grades – 2 hours per week).

The need for remedial work on the development of coherent speech as part of the basic hours served as the basis for the creation of this work program . The author expresses the hope that the program will help speech therapists special ( correctional) schools YII form in the planning and organization of work for the development of coherent speech students of senior classes .

explanatory note

This work program is aimed at developing coherent speech of middle-level students of the school. The focus of her speech given to such units , as a word, phrase , sentence, text, and ways of constructing meaningful statements by these units.

Work on the connected speech is not only working on a separate proposal. Since Coherence is provided by a chain of interrelated proposals constitute a single semantic and structural whole – whole complex syntactic ( STSTS ) , optimally treat SSC as the real one coherent text , and as a training unit , solving the problem of mastering the methods of its construction , its structure.

Formation of the students’ concept of inter-phrase communications ( ISF ) and the simplest ways to use them in speech training enables students to build up a coherent expression of its own . Of the variety of funds in the MFS program uses only the most important and frequently encountered in the texts , the basis , the maximum available for the assimilation of students.

The successful assimilation of SSC structure , different types of MFS – one of the most important conditions for language acquisition in general. Only those possessing the language tools , students can properly convey the content side of the text , to understand its meaning and to build their own statement .

The program includes :

the correctional system works : the stages of their goals, objectives and content ;
thematic plan for training classes ;
themes and content of remedial work on the training classes .
The content of the speech therapy focuses on grammatical topics , the requirements for the development of speech and distribution of instructional time , which is provided in the program of special ( correctional) schools VII species.

The application shall contain:

exemplary speech material .
Each topic is associated with the acquisition of parts of speech , including work on the differentiation of grammatical and semantic features of words , exercise the right to use them in speech. Using reclaimed language means studying texts are constructed and are familiar with some regularities of monologic utterance , ie learn the basic laws of structuring the text.

Program thematic material is arranged concentrically , the work on the text included in all stages , with a gradual build-up of information about the standard features of the language and genre , means of communication and inter-phrase methods of text analysis .

The program text is considered in two ways : first, as a segment , a sample of the narrative, description, or the reasoning used in teaching purposes ( for training perception and understanding of the text, to correct certain aspects of speech activity of students) , and secondly, as a “product” speech of students, as a product of monologue speech , as the ultimate goal and the result of the work of correctional speech therapy .

The program does not address features of the text in oral and written statements. However, given that these two forms of speech is closely related to both the nature of use of syntactic structures , and on the requirements of logical consistency in the presentation of the content, the proposed material can equally be used for development work , both oral and written language .
